I purchased this bag as a shower present and received it today. It is very pretty and sophisticated for a diaper bag! The photo doesn't really do the embroidery justice. It's very well made without a lot of hanging strings and the colors are both subtle and eye-catching. It really is a lovely to look at!
That said, I was disappointed in two aspects. First, it is smaller than I had hoped. It will hold a couple of diapers, wipes, cream and a bottle or two, but it doesn't have a lot of space for that necessary change of clothes or a lightweight blanket like I like to carry during questionable weather. There is no real room for toys or a wallet, for that matter. (It does have a cell phone pouch in the sling, but it won't fit something fat like an iPhone or Blackberry.) I would say this bag is only good for short trips, not long outings. Secondly, the interior is lined in a lightweight lavender acetate (or similar inexpensive synthetic material) which downgrades the apparent quality of the bag. When you open it, it just doesn't seem like it was a full-price diaper bag.
Despite those negatives, the overall look and function of the bag is still exactly what is advertised. If you don't plan to take it on long trips and you want a diaper bag that passes as a really cute sling messenger bag, then this is your ticket!
