StorkSak Gigi Shoulder Diaper Bag,Chocolate,one size Right now

I purchased my wife an Storksak Elizabeth Bag in Grey for my wife in hopes that it would last her and she would be proud to carry it. Considering the price point I would consider the bag a luxury item. I purchased the bag shortly before Xmas (12/23/07) a little over a year ago. Being a somewhat frugal man I found and purchased the bag from a seller on a auction site for a slight savings and a bargain for shipping.

3 months ago when the $300 diaper bag was only 9 months in use the fabric the main zipper is attached to started to unravel. This is an obvious manufacture defect. Storksak has refused to repair the bag stating the back is stolen property because I did not purchase it in a authorized shop. I bought and paid for the bag using hard-earned american dollars. Hopefully the bag we sent back with an RMA will be returned.

My husband has just informed me he bought the bag on ebay and not while we were in Dallas. Thank you so much for forcing him to do that. Obviously, that negates the return policy. I would like my bag returned to me. Regardless of where the bag was purchases I cannot recommend your product or your return policy to ANYONE and I will make sure to tell everyone I know of this experience. The bag is one year old. That you would IMPLY THAT I AM LYING is beyond disgraceful. I was not aware that my husband bought the bag elsewhere and I contacted you with integrity. I have never been so insulted. This is the worst costumer service I have ever experienced.

It shouldn't matter where the bag was purchased. That you DO NOT stand by your product speaks volumes.
As I said before, I will TELL EVERYONE I know of this experience.

Seems both assumptions I made when I purchased the bag were incorrect. The luxury priced bag did not last her and thanks to the shameful customer service at Storksak even it were repaired or replaced she would no longer be proud to carry it. Cheapest BABYBJÿRN Diaper Backpack Active - Blue/Silver

Pros:
1) Light colored lining that allows easy finding for items (no black hole effect)
2) Light weight
3) Stands upright on its own
4) Insulated cup/bottle compartments - to give you an idea, they are roomy enough to easily fit standard size playtex straw cups.
5) I find it quite roomy to fit everything I need.
6) Straps are more comfortable than other backpack styles I have tried (especially comparing to Petunia Pickle Bottom, which is horrible!)
7) Many mesh pockets for organization.
8) Changing pad is big and nicely padded, and also waterproof.
9) The shoulder straps actually hangs perfectly on my Peg Perego stroller. Although this may not be the case for everyone.
10) Great sporty modern look.
11) Well constructed and sturdy material.

Cons:
1) Cell phone mesh holder on the side is not big enough for certain phones like a blackberry.
2) Lack of pockets that are sized just right for diapers and wipes. This is probably my biggest compaint about this bag (and thus the subtraction of one star). Although I resorted to putting a couple of diapers in the big mesh pocket in the front. They stick out a bit, but works. As for the wipes, which I use all the time, I just stick it in the main front compartment, and I don't mind that.
3) Changing pad's material can attract hair and dirt. Because of this I still use my old Fleurville changing pad.

Overall I would recommend this bag. I don't know why people think this bag is too small, because it really is not. To give a better idea, it definitely has a lot more room than say Fleurville's sling tote (which is a great bag by the way if you want a smaller diaper bag), and has just as much room as a Petunia Pickle Bottom, in my opinion. By the way, stay away from Petunia Pickle Bottom if you are looking for a backpack style bag (I tried that first because I got sucked into the pretty patterns, but it's VERY heavy even when empty, and the straps are very uncomfortable, and definitely not enough pockets).

I've been looking for a backpack style diaper bag for a while, and I really would recommend this bag.

This is my second Ju Ju Be bag and I just love all the extras they put into their bags. My daughter is a toddler now, so I need less stuff, but more hand freedom than when she was an infant. I wear this bag across my body and pushed behind me out of my way. This way I can carry and chase her as needed w/o the bag getting in my way. This bag also drapes over the handlebars on her stroller very easily. I carry two diapers, wipes, a change of clothes for her, my wallet, phone, and a few personal items. The bag then has enough room left over for my small video camera (or a book or a pair of hers shoes) and her jacket. I cannot fit my larger SLR camera in it. The outside holds the changing pad and I can slide lose papers, magazine, or a mid-sized book in it. The side pouches are able to hold my 32 oz Camelbak water bottle. The Ju Ju Be extras that I love are the light colored satiny linings, the super stretchy key fob, the easily-wipeable outside fabric, the sunglasses holder, the magnetic closures, and numerous pockets. I don't quite get the crumb drain holes as they are never on a pouch that I put food in, for instance on this bag, they are on the outer pouch where the changing pad is. I had such high hopes for this bag so when it failed in an unexpected way, I was really disappointed!

The bag is pretty well designed (thought I can think of a few enhancements) and my wife and I both love it. It's good for around town and was perfect when we were traveling.

On the airplane on the way home, however, we were hit with the dreaded BROKEN ZIPPER (and it wasn't even over-stuffed!). I was able to realign the threads, but we all know that once the zipper fails, it's going to happen again...maybe not today or tomorrow, but certainly while we are on a crowded bus or trying to quietly exit a lecture, or going through security at the airport...

The title says it all. I bought these pail liners because I was looking for an inexpensive, BPA/phthalate/vinyl free diaper pail liner to suit my cloth diapering needs. (Plus, this item has free shipping...I am a sucker for free shipping!)The pail liner fits into my diaper pail very nicely, and it dries quickly on the drying rack, but those are the only positive things about it. After the first use, I noticed that the bag was wet. I thought it might be condensation, but it was not. After I removed the bag, my diaper pail was wet and smelled like urine. The draw string does not close the bag all of the way, so it is not very useful as a duffle bag either. Actually, the name "Thirsty" really describes this bag. It's almost as if every pore of this bag is thirsty and they suck in all of the wetness from the diapers instead of repelling it!

I found them on an auction website for $16.50 with free shipping (and in a variety of colors)...not sure if I can say the name of the site....but it is the most popular auction/bid website out there! (if you get my hint) These bags are definitely waterproof! I loved them so much, I bought another one after giving the first one a trial run. You KNOW a bag is waterproof when you take it out of the wash and there is water trapped inside. Ever since I made the switch, my diaper pail has been dry and odorless!

I bought this bag online without seeing it in person, trusting the Skip Hop name for quality...

The general look & construction is good, but the handles and zipper look like they belong on a knockoff product. Handles are of cheap woven nylon that don't fit with the overall stylish look (and pricetag). And the zipper is a made of sharp metal that catches and rips anything that gets caught in it. It also sticks very easily on its own. Why did they not use a good quality plastic zipper like you find on knapsacks and luggage? Also the zipper does not completely close the top of the bag #look closely at the photo - I only noticed it later). This means that snow/rain/sand can get in at the ends - what's the point of carrying a change of clothes if those can get wet or dirty too?
I am disappointed in this bag. It looks great from far, but too many sacrifices in quality were made for the price -I will be returning it.

++ The quality of the bag is great (we got navy, looks good!). The zippers are so smooth and the bag is well built and comfortable to wear. The diaper "hammock" is perfectly sized for about 10 diapers, so this is a great bag for an overnight trip. -- The downside: I really wish there was a convenient place for the changing pad, I've got it folder up and in one of the small zipper pouches, but there's just no good place for it! I could also fit my large wallet in there. Mesh pockets are cheaply made, very large, and a bit rough. Bottles will fall out if you are not careful, but they are convenient for putting other items because they are so large. You could fit two bottles in one mesh pocket and more. The straps are rather thin. All in all, the two strap backpack style was not good for me because I live in cold weather and it was hard to put on over bulky coats. I will go with sling style. The bag fits a lot and expands into a ball when stuffed, which doesn't make it good for everyday use when I prefer a sleeker, more comfortable style. I consider a diaper bag an investment and don't mind spending a little bit more on a bag. My diaper bag doubled as my purse until my daughter potty trained at 2.5, so it had to hold a lot. I have found that some women are minimalists and prefer a small bag that holds a couple of diapers and wipes; I am the opposite. I want a bag that will hold enough diapers for a day's outing (and I use cloth, which can be bulky), plus I keep sippies, snacks, a book for me to read, my keys, wallet, phone, etc. I found that the SkipHop met my needs with regards to size. I also loved the look of it (we had Uptown Stripe) and found it comfortable to wear on my shoulder or slung across my body, even when I was also wearing my baby in a carrier on my front or back. The major downside about this bag is that it does not wear well. I found that the outer shell stained easily, and as others posted, I saw more fraying and wear along the seams than I expected in a short amount of time. It did not respond well to spot cleaning or machine washing (machine washing did not damage the bag at all, but it didn't improve the stain situation). After a while the whole thing started to look dingy to me, and I used it for less than a year and a half.
